“Greek for the
Rest of Us”

Description

Do you ever wish you could explore all the rich meaning of the New Testament, but feel stuck because you can’t read the original Greek? If so, this class is for you! “Greek for the Rest of Us” will equip students to use Greek study tools responsibly without needing to put in all the time required to learn the Greek language. 

Students will be introduced to the following topics: 

• The Greek alphabet and pronunciation

• Basic principles of translation and reasons why English translations differ

• How to do a word study

• Textual criticism

• Date and time: Saturday morning, July 5th, 2025, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• Location: Charity Christian Fellowship, Leola, PA

• Cost: $40 per person

• Class size: 8-10 people, on a “first-come first-served” basis

• Note: there is no “homework” or “pre-work” for this class, just the one Saturday morning
